Lead Installer and Installation Apprentice:

We’re looking for HVAC Lead Installers and Install Apprentices to grow with us!

Experience is preferred but not necessary.However, the ideal applicant will, be clean cut, no drugs, neat appearance, great attitude, punctual and have good work experience in framing, carpentry, plumbing, or electrical.

This is a full-time position with paid training, bonuses, paid vacation, paid sick time, 6 paid holidays per year, and health insurance.

The ideal candidate for this position should have some experience with residential equipment, as well as light commercial equipment.

Experience with refrigeration is also a plus, but not required.

This is a full-time position with overtime available, some weekends/on-call shifts are required.Work truck, phone, and iPad will be provided.

The ideal Service Manager for Innovative Air Solutions will lead our Service Department to success by coaching, training, and building our Service Team to reach measurable goals within the company. This is a Full-Time Office Position at our Main Office located in Orange, Texas.

Responsibilities Will Include:

-Ensuring customer satisfaction while meeting departmental goals and objectives

-Communicating directly with customers, vendors, and suppliers to ensure accurate information of job and project status

-Provides direction and support for HVAC Technicians to meet service demands and customers’ expectations

-Reviews technicians’ work to ensure quality meets company standards, techniques, and safety requirements

-Responsible for HVAC technicians’ performance, reviews, and for setting improvement goals per company requirements

-Perform ride-a-long’s with Service Technicians as needed on various jobs

-Establishes and maintains a regular training program to ensure HVAC are properly trained on latest service techniques and safety procedures as well soft skills and customer service development

-Communicates on a daily basis with CSR to ensure that calls are being scheduled properly by skill level and efficiency requirements

-Maintains constant communication with vendors and suppliers concerning warranty issues, operational issues with products, and other part issues that apply to the equipment sold and serviced

-Ensure that required parts are ordered in a timely manner by the Warehouse Person to ensure repair deadlines are met

-Ensures all company policies and procedures are being followed by HVAC Technicians

-Monitors HVAC service trucks to ensure they are in acceptable condition to allow technicians to efficiently work and have an adequate inventory of parts and materials on their truck

-Keeps current with latest factory training on current products and coordinates HVAC training with Service Technicians and other Department Managers

-Meet and work with other Departmental Managers to meet company and departmental goals and objectives

Minimum Job Requirement Include:

  • Excellent customer service and sales skills
  • 3-5 years of Management related experience or an equivalent experience in Education
  • High School Education or above
  • Excellent leadership skills to enhance team productivity and standards of the company’s culture
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong conflict management skills
  • Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments
  • A good knowledge of computer and technology skills and a willingness to learn new programs
  • Has a strong desire for continuous improvement and a desire to motivate HVAC Service technicians to be better tomorrow than they are today
  • Has a neat, clean, and professional appearance
