Position Overview: The Installation Manager is a key member of Innovative Air Solutions management team. The Installation Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of multiple installation crews. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong leadership abilities, and effective communication to ensure the successful execution of HVAC projects. The Installation Manager will report directly to the owners of the company and will be responsible for maintaining high job quality, efficient material usage, and optimal time management within the installation department.

Key Responsibilities:

Crew Management:

  • Supervise and manage a team of 3 or more installation crews. Assign crews to specific jobs based on skill sets and project requirements. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to crew members to ensure high performance and customer and job satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate company goals, product training, expectations, company changes, and KPI reporting to management team.


  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive schedule for all installation projects.
  • Coordinate with warehouse department, customer experience coordinator, and comfort advisors to establish timelines and prioritize projects. Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes or delays, ensuring on-time project completion.
  • Conduct performance review with installation team members quarterly.

Job Quality:

  • Monitor and assess the quality of installations to ensure they meet company standards and customer expectations.
  • Ensure installation jobs meet or exceed customers expectations and maintain the quality of Innovative Air Solutions high company standards.
  • Address any issues or concerns related to job quality promptly and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with crews to provide ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.

Material Usage:

  • Oversee the efficient usage of materials to minimize waste and control costs.
  • Maintain inventory of necessary installation materials and supplies, reordering as needed.
  • Work with vendors and suppliers to secure materials and negotiate favorable terms.

Time Management:

  • Implement strategies to optimize crew productivity and time management.
  • Ensure crews adhere to project timelines and deadlines.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce inefficiencies in the installation workflow.


  • Serve as a liaison between installation crews, comfort advisors, clients, and company owners.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, challenges, and successes to relevant persons.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in construction, installation, or a related field, with a minimum of 3-4 years of management experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project scheduling and time management.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Familiarity with installation materials, tools, and techniques.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Lead Installer and Installation Apprentice:

We’re looking for HVAC Lead Installers and Install Apprentices to grow with us!

Experience is preferred but not necessary.However, the ideal applicant will, be clean cut, no drugs, neat appearance, great attitude, punctual and have good work experience in framing, carpentry, plumbing, or electrical.

This is a full-time position with paid training, bonuses, paid vacation, paid sick time, 6 paid holidays per year, and health insurance.

The ideal candidate for this position should have some experience with residential equipment, as well as light commercial equipment.

Experience with refrigeration is also a plus, but not required.

This is a full-time position with overtime available, some weekends/on-call shifts are required.Work truck, phone, and iPad will be provided.
